Massage Therapist, Certified Trainer and Wellness/Health Coach

I have been an athletic trainer since the early 80s and have professional taught swimming, skiing, competitive cycling as well as training all levels of athletes and enthusiast in a variety of sports and recreation. I have also been a sports massage therapist for over 2 decades focusing on injury rehabilitation and chronic pain injury.

B.S. Portland State University – Physical Education with minor studies in Exercise Physiology and Corporation Fitness Programing.
East West College of Healing Arts – Massage Therapy Program
Santa Monica CC A.A. – Nutritional Sciences

On a personal note: My passion in life  is to enjoy nature, adventure, fitness and health. I learned at a young age that I wanted others to have this passion too. In my early teens I took my first job in the health and fitness industry and never looked back!
Stand up paddle boarding is an easy and accessible way to for folks to explore and enjoy the outdoors and enjoy fitness!

Michael C Ehlen

Mike a long, long, long time waterman and partner in fun and life with Janice.

Mike has arguably spent most of his free time pursuing water sports and adventure, surfing being his greatest passion since 1967.

Experience:

1981-85 Co-owner of Viento Marino. A windsurfing school and rental business in Manzanillo Mexico. As a Certified Windsurfing Instructor he taught and guided students of all ages to enjoy

1960’s Cascade Ski Club: a competitive alpine ski racing club. Mike’s family had a home in Government Camp, so he spent many years on the sloops of Mt Hood.

Present: SUP enthusiast and “all around good guy!”
